LESLEY’S CAREER BEGAN WITH ROYAL DRESSMAKER NORMAN HARTNELL
Lesley began her journey in wedding dress design by training for 4 years at the London College of Fashion. After graduating she begun to work for notable names such as Norman Hartnell, Jenny Packham and John Galliano CBE before moving forward to top quality tailoring companies such as Alexon, Planet and Windsmoor. Lesley has worked on the exclusive Bridal Range for one of Britain’s leading wedding dress designers, Ronald Joyce and the garments made for British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher at Aquascutum amongst other notable names.

AN INVALUABLE MENTOR
Lesley’s career really advanced when managing the workroom for Royal Wedding Dress designer Elizabeth Emanuel, who is best known for designing Princess Diana’s wedding dress. The opportunity to work with Elizabeth on these elaborate and imaginative creations was invaluable, giving Lesley an outstanding knowledge of cut, proportion and fit.
